ALBANY, N.Y. /New York Netwire/ — Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that MTA bridges are open to emergency personnel only, effective immediately. That includes fire and police personnel, first responders, and medical personnel which include doctors, nurses, etc. Assessments are ongoing as to whether bridges are reopening to the public.
These MTA bridges include:
– Robert F. Kennedy Bridge
– Throgs Neck Bridge
– Bronx-Whitestone Bridge
– Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
– Henry Hudson Bridge
– Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge
– Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge.
